Iván A. Plasencia Blanco

I was born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, in 1993. I completed all my studies in the capital, earning a degree in Physical Culture, Sports, and Recreation from UCCFD Manuel Fajardo, commonly known as Mariposa.

I worked for one year in a primary school, five years in a secondary school, and two years as a soccer coach. As a coach, I managed three different age groups, overseeing approximately 60 athletes. I also served as the head coach for the 9-10-year-old category in my city, leading the team to a third-place finish out of 14 teams in the provincial championship, with an impressive record of 12 consecutive games undefeated.

I arrived in the United States on December 10, 2023. Initially, I worked as an assistant in a granite factory, and during that time, I connected with Church of the Way, officially becoming a member on August 25, 2024. Later, in the second half of October, I began working as a coach at The Way Christian Academy.
