Vicky Vega

My name is Victoria Vega, though some affectionately refer to me as Vicky. I accepted Jesus Christ into my life 37 years ago, a decision I consider the best one I’ve made in my life.

Throughout these 37 years, I have been involved in numerous ministries, including serving as a choir member, worship leader, and altar worker, visiting prisons to minister to inmates, and nurturing the youth through song. Additionally, I served as an outreach worker in the Bronx community where I worshipped two decades ago. Moreover, I had the privilege of embarking on three missions’ trips with the choir, extending our ministry to Bulgaria, Paraguay, and South Africa.

Presently, I stand alongside my husband and Pastor, Louie Vega, who leads Church of the Way. Our journey in this congregation spans 17 years. Within the church, I fulfill the role of Lead Worshipper, guiding the congregation in worship during our Sunday services, Office Manager, and Executive Assistant. Additionally, I oversee the Women’s Ministry of CTW and lend a helping hand to other ministries as needed.

Recently, Pastor Louie shared how God has impressed upon his heart the urgency to venture into the community and share the gospel. I have joined him in this endeavor, dedicating Saturdays to outreach efforts. Together, we distribute information about the church and our school, TWCA K-12, which commenced in 2018.
